by deservingone26 inive been going thru a lot of the different posts on here and seeing that most here believe that higher education is very important.
i agree that it is important and i plan on going back to school in the fall but im just wondering who all here has a degree and in what?

the fact that today we do not have a vast water canopy suspended high up in space and all around our globe and thus blocking direct sunlight, moonlight and starlight is because jehovah saw what was going on down here upon his terrestrial footstool and took action.

well, i don't believe jesus ever existed. and terry is right that there are only rare quotes that could be acutally attributed to jesus, if some prototype of him ever walked this earth. some extra-canonical gospels and writings (and reconstructions, like "Q") might shed a little more light on this.
@tec, of course i listen to men, other animals are a little harder to have a conversation with. all that i said i read in the bible, and i guess that's your original source of information about your savior too. as to bias... it's not like i haven't seen the world like you do before. but one day you have to face reality, and you better hit reality before reality hits you...

according to the gospels, jesus doomed whole towns (like capernaum) because they dind't listen to him. he called everyone with a little education a viper, a generation of vipers. he liked the thought of casting out people to hear their gnashing of teeth. foreigners he called dogs. he wants to bbq everyone he does not like, which pretty much is anyone not believing his message or anyone who loves his family. he hates people who got money... he either want's to take their money from them or not let them in his kingdom.
and he even admits that he did NOT come for peace, but to bring a sword.

in real life, love is indeed important, but hate, disgust and similar so-called "negative" feelings might be just as important.
